Desierto y Agua, el dúo vanguardista de Electronic World Music en Latinoamérica, emerge como el puente entre la música electrónica y los instrumentos ancestrales andinos, como el impresionante Erke de 5 metros. Esta conexión da vida a una fusión con carácter bailable y étnico, siendo además reconocidos performers que añaden una dimensión teatral a su propuesta artística.
La trayectoria de Desierto y Agua abarca Sudamérica, Europa e Israel, dejando su huella en renombrados festivales y escenarios internacionales. Dentro de sus actuaciones en Europa destacan: Les Nuits de Guéret Festival, Francia 2023; Las Dalias, Ibiza 2023; Folcktronic sessions Vol. II en Ocaña Club, Barcelona 2023, Parapanda Folk, España 2019, La Fada Ignorant, Andorra la Vella.
En Latinoamérica brillaron en Wonderlust Festival Chile 2023; Estadio Movistar Arena, Argentina 2022 (donde abrieron para A-ha), Festival de Música Nativa, Cusco, Perú 2019 y 2021, compartiendo escenario con figuras como Nación Ekeko, Paloma del Cerro y Los Cafres.
Con tres álbumes, dos EP y múltiples singles bajo sellos prestigiosos como WAYU RECORDS (Miami), AMSELCOM (Alemania) y Gonna Go Records (Argentina), Desierto y Agua trasciende géneros con remixes de Rodrigo Gallardo (Chile) y Dandara (Suiza).
En sus colaboraciones, destaca su participación junto a Paloma del Cerro en la canción titulada "Te Quiero Como Eres". Su última obra, "YUYO", lanzada en diciembre de 2022, llevó su música a la Patagonia, Europa y Bolivia en marzo de 2023. En julio de 2023, el dúo presenta "YUYO REMIXES", un álbum con contribuciones de destacados artistas de Ecuador, México, Chile y Argentina. Obtuvieron además el Premio Ibermúsicas 2019 y 2021, además del Impulsar Mica 2023.

Desierto y Agua, the avant-garde duo of Electronic World Music in Latin America, emerges as the bridge between electronic music and ancestral Andean instruments, such as the impressive 5-meter Erke. This connection brings to life a fusion with a danceable and ethnic character, and they are also recognized performers who add a theatrical dimension to their artistic proposal.
Desierto y Agua's trajectory spans South America, Europe, and Israel, leaving their mark on renowned festivals and international stages. Among their performances in Europe, they stand out at Les Nuits de Guéret Festival, France 2023; Las Dalias, Ibiza 2023; Folcktronic sessions Vol. II at Ocaña Club, Barcelona 2023; Parapanda Folk, Spain 2019; and La Fada Ignorant, Andorra la Vella.

YUYO (Album 2022)
Electronic World music. La fertilidad de las raíces en combinación con sonidos electrónicos actuales. Ritmos del pasado y del presente, sirviéndose de instrumentaciones tanto tradicionales con texturas de vanguardia. Sonidos tribales característicos del dúo como el Erke, la trutruca mapuche, ícaros que nos trasladan a lo más antiguo, nos conectan con nuestros ancestros y la sabiduría de la tierra, con nuestra sangre invocando el amor para sanar. Un viaje chamánico tan actual y antiguo como la misma Pacha Mama.
El álbum incluye 6 tracks de electronic world music, fusionando música electrónica de producción propia con instrumentos ancestrales andinos. Un viaje volcánico que sin dudas tocará las fibras más intimas de los oyentes. Dany Riaño es quien está en la producción musical electrónica, sumando sintetizadores, ronroco, kena, pincullo y voces. Andrea Feiguin acompaña esta producción junto con erke, trutruca mapuche, sikus, zampoña y voces. Los arreglos, mezcla y masterización están a cargo de Hernán Bruckner.
Sobre los temas del álbum:
MI SANGRE: es un mantra que invoca al amor y lo atrae con nuestra sangre, la sangre que fluye caliente en nuestro cuerpo y trae a nuestros ancestros en ella, la que da vida y es un acto de humanidad al donarla. Profundo y dulce canto con graves y enigmáticos sintetizadores que envuelven una cálida melodía de ronroco.
YUYERA: es quien recolecta plantas medicinales para compartir sanación. Los artistas han atravesado procesos de purificación y han profundizado en estos conocimientos, llevando a través de la música su manto de luz. Tribal y viceral, Yuyera nos trae la sanación.
DELIRIOS: Inspirados por la melodía etérea y única del tema Los Delirios del Mariscal, canción del año 1977 parte del álbum con el mismo nombre del grupo de Rock progresivo Crucis, con autoría de Anibal Kerpel. Este álbum ha sido considerado por la revista Rolling Stone y la cadena MTV como uno de los cien mejores discos de la historia del rock argentino.Una pieza que invita a elevarse y planear estados de placer mágicos. El YUYO argentino por excelencia es el Plumero Pampa.
EL HUMAHUAQUEÑO: Este carnavalito mundialmente conocido, del autor argentino Edmundo Zaldívar, lo encontramos en YUYO atravesado por sonidos electrónicos y actuales en formato instrumental.
CHAMANES: sonidos chamánicos de ritual para restaurar el equilibrio. Un llamado espiritual y muy bailable con beats que curan.

MI SANGRE: is a mantra that invokes love and attracts it with our blood, the blood that flows warm in our body and brings our ancestors in it, the one that gives life and it is an act of humanity to donate it. Deep and sweet singing with bass and enigmatic synthesizers that surround a warm snoring melody.
YUYERA: is the one who collects medicinal plants to share healing. Artists have gone through purification processes and have deepened this knowledge, carrying their cloak of light through music. Tribal and viceral, Yuyera brings us healing.
DELIRIOS: Inspired by the ethereal and unique melody of the song Los Delirios del Mariscal, a song from 1977 from the album with the same name by the progressive rock group Crucis, authored by Anibal Kerpel. This album has been considered by Rolling Stone magazine and MTV as one of the hundred best albums in the history of Argentine rock. En la tradición de la Cosmovisión Andina, los seres humanos somos parte
de la Naturaleza y pertenecemos a ella y no al revés. Debido a que la cultura andina está
centrada en la naturaleza, para los pueblos andinos, la reciprocidad con la naturaleza es
un deber moral, pues la Madre Tierra (Pachamama) es quien nos da la vida, los alimentos
y la existencia. En consecuencia, debemos “devolver” a la tierra lo que es suyo y no
depredar hasta agotar los recursos naturales. Todo lo que hemos de tomar, debemos
devolverlo. La música de Desierto y Agua es esa ofrenda.
EL AMOR SALVA AL MUNDO
llega como un mantra o una convicción que, por la prepotencia de insistir, empieza a ser real. La Kalimba acompaña este track con aires nuevos y sonidos actuales.
EL CONDOR PASA
La mundialmente famosa melodía de Daniel Alomía Robles manifiesta el carácter antiimperialista y revolucionario de sus autores. Capta el sentimiento, las melodías y los instrumentos musicales del pueblo andino. Nuestra versión atravesada por la electrónica fusiona los mundos y reivindica estos valores.
COLIBRÍ (EL LLAMADO) sonidos orgánicos de esta ave bailan con el dulce canto del pincullo, la tierra viene a buscarnos, su sabia nos penetra desde el árbol más viejo y florecemos como un colibrí. Cambiar la sangre por savia, comprender la vibración de la tierra que nos susurra su secreto.
EL PORTAL simboliza la apertura necesaria de nuestra mente y alma para vivir en este nuevo mundo, adaptarnos, atravesar miedos, bloqueos y volar. El portal ya está abierto, sólo hay que animarse a travesarlo.
DANZA DE GAIA
es el latido de nuestro planeta y como nosotros vibramos JUNTO a ella, acoplarse a su respiración, sin invadirla. La Trutruca es la señal para convocarte a danzar junto a la Pachamama.
SOLSTICIO
es un ritual del Año Nuevo, celebramos a la Pachamama o madre tierra y a Tata Inti o padre sol, a quienes le pedimos con los sonidos de los vientos y cuerdas andinas, que nos traiga un año productivo y rico para la comunidad.

"ELEMENTOS" Album (2020)
Elementos" es el segundo álbum en formato dúo de Desierto y Agua, editado bajo el sello discográfico Wayu Records (Miami). Seis tracks de composición propia, más un remix de “El ritual” producido por el reconocido Rodrigo Gallardo (Chile).
Bajo un sonido enfocado al downtempo y con la impronta andina que caracteriza al dúo, los temas van recorriendo los cuatro elementos que conforman la cosmovisión andina, que son el eje de la composición de toda la producción del dúo.
Esta nueva propuesta conceptual se enciende en el fuego, baja a la tierra, se sumerge en el agua para elevarse al aire, acompasado por un beat que se acelera a medida que la obra avanza.
“El ritual” (fuego) un mantra que nace desde la llama interna con aires de cumbia andina, nos remite al momento del nacimiento, en cualquiera de sus formas.
“En Susques” (tierra) inspirados por tierras jujeñas, sikuriadas y procesiones. Con un sonido árido que invoca al espíritu de nuestro suelo sagrado.-
“Puerta del sol” (fuego) desde el interior intentamos irradiar la cálida caricia del sol, y la prosperidad que brinda a todos los seres que habitamos la Pachamama.
“O2” (aire) una pausa para elevarse. Sonidos del ronroco que flotan entre quenas, toyos y la propia respiración.
“Pumakana” (tierra) Grabado en Cusco, contiene los sonidos ancestrales y salvajes de sus montañas, ríos y ruinas. Erke, sikus e ícaros chamánicos llevarán al oyente a su animal de poder.
“Rios” (agua) Emerge de las profundidades, navegando las mentes de los seres líquidos que somos.

LIVE SET:
Fusión de electrónica digital con sintetizadores, máquinas de ritmos, sampler e instrumentos ancestrales (como Erke, Trutruca Mapuche, Toyo Boliviano, Quenas y Ronroco) que produce un show en vivo con temas originales donde se aborda la electrónica orgánica, Downtempo Andino y cumbia digital de propia producción.
Para Desierto y Agua, la estética es muy importantes por esto que durante el show se utilizan diferentes máscaras futuristas y ancestrales con maquillajes artísticos y vestuarios. El espectáculo tiene un criterio performático en relación a la música y a la cosmovisión andina de la vida.
La duración es de 40 a 90 minutos aproximadamente, adaptándose a los diferentes espacios que deseen y pudiendo también adecuar la propuesta a una fiesta bien bailable como a un espacio más tranquilo.
LIVE SET:
Fusion of digital electronics with synthesizers, rhythm machines, sampler and ancestral instruments (such as Erke, Trutruca Mapuche, Toyo Boliviano, Quenas and Ronroco) that produces a live show with original themes that address organic electronics, Andean Downtempo and digital cumbia of own production.
For Desert and Water, aesthetics is very important, so that different futuristic and ancestral masks with artistic makeup and costumes are used during the show. The show has a performative criterion in relation to music and the Andean worldview of life.
The duration is approximately 40 to 90 minutes, adapting to the different spaces they want and also being able to adapt the proposal to a danceable party as well as a quieter space.
